Grant a Wish for Suffield Players

The theatre operates like any business—if you are able to support us with in-kind gifts found on our Wish List, you help us maintain our operating expenses while earning benefits for your organization or yourself.  We accept donations of any kind from bottled water to paper supplies to costumes and technical equipment!

If you can provide one of these items, please contact us with questions or to set up delivery of an item.  The Suffield Players will acknowledge your donation with a letter and, commensurate with the total value of your in-kind donation, will recognize you in our print material for the season.

CURRENT WISH LIST

Cleaning supplies
We strive to maintain a clean, pleasant atmosphere for our patrons with every show.  We can use window cleaner, bathroom sink/tile cleaner, toilet cleaner, dish soap, hand soap, sponges, dish rags & towels, mops and floor cleaner for linoleum tile.
Paper supplies
We stock the snack bar, three bathrooms, the kitchen, the set construction area, and the dressing rooms so we can always use napkins, plastic ware, solo cups, toilet tissue, paper towels, tissues, and baby-wipes/make-up-removal wipes.
Bottled water
Whether for our snack bar or to serve our cast and crew during production, we can always use cases of water (or canned soda).
Light bulbs
Mapleton Hall has 90 standard light fixtures that use one of the following: 40-watt, 60-watt, 75-watt, 120-watt, 150-watt (both 3-way and dimmable), fluorescent F40T12 tubes , indoor and outdoor pars, halogens, 40-watt globe with regular base and 60-watt candelabra base.
Costumes
While we have limited space, we often need specialty costume pieces, especially those of bygone eras.  We can accept gently used items that are clean.
Crushed stone and equipment for parking lot
Mapleton Hall's large parking lot operates best when covered with crushed stone.  Over time, the parking lot's stone is lost due to flooding and movement due to snowplowing.  It is a very large area and we're in need of dump truck loads of crushed stone that will need to be leveled.  The priority is to eliminate low spots in the parking lot, thus reducing mud and puddles where cars are parked.  If you are able to donate the stone, we also need a donation of equipment to level the parking lot (a tractor or truck equipped with a spreading blade).  Contact our facility manager here.
